Presentation Deck
Client: Erie City Mission
Role: Designer
Project Type: Fundraising Campaign Presentation Deck
Overview
The Hope & Restoration Campaign was created to support Erie City Mission’s fundraising efforts, communicating their vision of renewal and transformation within the community. As the designer, I developed a visual presentation deck that told the story of impact through an engaging, human-centered lens.
My Role
Designed the full campaign presentation deck from concept to completion
Developed a cohesive visual system aligning with Erie City Mission’s existing brand identity
Created infographics and data visualizations to simplify complex impact metrics
Applied visual hierarchy and storytelling principles to enhance clarity and emotional engagement
Collaborated with the communications team to refine narrative flow, tone, and final presentation visuals
Design Approach
Using visual storytelling, hierarchical structure, and data-driven infographics, I organized the presentation around the Mission’s core values and tangible community outcomes. The design leveraged consistent brand elements, authentic imagery, and intentional pacing to guide the viewer through both the emotional and factual aspects of the campaign narrative.
Research & Discovery: Reviewed Erie City Mission’s brand materials, past campaign assets, and donor communications to align the visual direction.
Information Architecture: Outlined a narrative flow emphasizing mission, impact, and giving opportunities.
Visual Design: Developed slide templates and graphic systems using the Mission’s color palette and typography. Designed infographics that visualized metrics such as meals served, shelter nights provided, and recovery program success rates.
Refinement & Collaboration: Worked closely with the communications team to edit copy, refine hierarchy, and ensure clarity and emotional tone were balanced.
Outcome
The final presentation successfully equipped Erie City Mission’s leadership with a professional and visually persuasive tool for donor engagement. The deck helped communicate measurable impact while maintaining a compassionate, hopeful tone that reflected the organization’s mission.
